Dear God people backup your files. I just finished recovering and reformatting my main hard drive. I got lucky... very lucky.
The other night I was showing a friend a shoot i did that day on the train when the battery died on my laptop. I unplugged my external and put everything back in my bag. Didn't think anything of it honestly, next morning when i boot up, all ready to work on some files and get G: is inaccessible and corrupt. I about died. I normally back up once a month to another external which is my dedicated backup drive however (and of course) I've been waiting because I have 2 1TB Lacie drives on order, I was waiting on them

have you been to the spot on tour? 101 richmond st. about a block away from where the underground was. it's not bad. it's bigger, and a different vibe but it's coming together...
